It has a regular size pool with artificial waves, slightly overcrowded. Some toboganes, in good conditions. Everything is a little pricy, so I recommend bringing your own pool stuff. The food is regular quality, and with a good taste.

This is a truly interactive experience. Great fun for kids of all ages. Swim with the dolphins and get up and close with them. Get pulled around the pool, pushed through the pool, jumped over and swam under by the dolphins themselves!

You can also pet, kiss, and sing with the dolphins.

Dolphins show is very good and you can take many pictures. They even take your children a photograph (or even a photograph with the dolphins) for an additional fee ($5 and $20, respectively).

It has barely any waves!

You can rent a jetski from the vendors at the Camino Real hotel’s beach for U.S. $40 for 30 minutes.
You can ride the jetski in this This little bay that is very pretty and green. It’s very picturesque, with big rocks along the water, stretches of sandy beach, and palm trees everywhere. The bay is calm so it’s a great place to learn how to ride a jetski.

It is situated in a very affluent residential area, where all the rich and famous live.

The chapel was built by a wealthy Mexican to commemorate and bury two of his sons who were killed in an accident. However anyone can chose to be cremated and the urn put into one of the vaults.

The chapel can also be used for weddings. It is a simple but lovely place.

The fort was intended to protect the main port of the western coast of Mexico, where the ship from China arrived delivering a lot of goods that would cross by land to Veracruz in the Gulf of Mexico and from there to Spain.

It is a nice museum if one likes this type of history. Lots of little indoor rooms with items, and stories in Spanish and English.

Nicely maintained and in the heart of Acapulco with a good view of the bay.

Sundays entrance is free.

There is very few people, mainly only natives. You can ride 4-wheelers and horses on the beach, get amassage, drank pina coladas, and watch the beautiful sunsets.

So over all this is a fantastic, quiet beach to spend your day.

These crazy divers dive 125 ft from the cliffs of La Quebrada into the water below. This is a must see in Acapulco! It is actually one of the best ways to see the sunset and a nice and original show, the divers do it from a rocky cliff into the raging sea, while one watches from a viewpoint with a nice drink.

The Mayan Palace is an outstanding resort. The lobby is huge and gorgeous. Great pools. Great service. Great restaurants. but does lack an ocean view.

The service is amazing. Daily maid service and daily turn down service. And the staff at the front entrance will help you with anything you need.

The Fitness Center is great if you’re looking to workout on your vacation.

Restaurants on site:
There are 3 Mayan Palace properties and there are shuttles that will take you to the other properties. Samba’s, Mondo’s and Il Forno (@ Sea Garden) for Italian. All great and good prices.

The pools and the beaches are amazing. Small water parks, very large pools and the Lazy River. So relaxing and fun!

The beautiful beach is at Grand Mayan. It is at the Grand Mayan property a short shuttle ride over. For a small fee you could get a palapa to get some shade. Very worth it. They have waiters that come by at the beach and at the pools to see if you want anything to drink. Vendors are at the beach since it is a public area. The resort posts warnings about vendors – they cannot be held liable. It’s a great swimming beach with fun waves.

The food was great and the Italian restaurant comes highly recommended. Just make sure you make your dinner reservation as early as possible as it fills quickly.

This is one of the only resorts with private beach in Acapulco.
